Yes absolutely! We encourage you to use any container you have at home that can be refilled. We also have paper bags for free and a variety of refillable container options available for purchase.

Almost any container with a lid that seals can be used for refill products. Our advice is to think through what you will be doing with that product when you arrive home. If you are going to redistribute the product into smaller dispensers at home consider how you will easily pour it. We offer refill pouches with pour spouts that make this easier or you can also purchase a funnel to transfer product from one container to another.

No, definitely not. We believe that plastic is single-use only if you use it once and throw it
away. If you have a plastic bottle, jug or other container with a lid you are welcome to bring it and fill
it up!

If you follow the step to TARE your container before filling you will account for any product still left in the container and this will be deducted from the filled weight at checkout. Obviously we do not recommend mixing products, so make sure to label your containers with what they contain.

In an effort to have the lowest possible carbon footprint for our business we do not offer shipping or delivery of products. We DO offer online ordering with in-store pick up and we may add curb-side pick up as an option in the future.

We do not currently have the space to collect container donations but hope to be able to do so in the future. We also plan to have community days where we have container swap events for people looking to expand collections.

We prioritize people and the planet when making our product sourcing decisions. We work with selected key wholesalers who have strict policies related to ingredients, production standards and labor practices. We purchase as much as possible from vendors based in California and the Pacific Northwest, producing products made in California and the Pacific Northwest. We purchase from minority and women owned businesses whenever possible. We check the authenticity of the origin and standard for each supplier we work with. We have common allergens marked on our refill products. If you have a question about ingredients in a specific product please email us at information@rightonrefillery.com or ask in the store. If you would like us to look into carrying a specific allergy-sensitive product we would be happy to do so.

All of our waste is sorted into recycling, compost and general waste. We do our best to produce as little general waste as possible. We use Terracyle (link here) to process specific packaging and waste items that can be repurposed but are not accepted in general recycling.
